Hello everybody,

Two years ago, I have found a beautiful badge (diamond messing) in a old box with copy and original badges of the third reich era.

So, when I saw two weeks ago on weitze and Hermann-historica the same design, patina, and exemplar... I have a big doubt on the originality. (beacause it's very rare)

So, what do you think about it ? (Hinge and catch hinge are the same on the third badge presented)

I would begin by reading the note in post #1 and then go to post #39 on page 4 and follow the discussion from there. Ailsby has championed the type of badge you show but he has no proof that anything he says about them is true.
