HJ Leistungsabzeichen

Hi all,

I have a question about HJ Leistungsabzeichen.

I have searched for information but couldn’t really get a final conclusion.

The ‘wave stamp’ as you sometimes see on the backside (sometimes only the waves and sometimes the waves being stamped through the number), are they authentic or not ?

I know about the ‘B’ being a replacement issue or purchase. Also on the forum I see people mentioning them as being fakes, but I see them being sold at good sellers too.

I added a picture from one I am looking to buy from also a trusted seller, IMO.

Hi there,

A badge with the wavy lines, are well known fakes, find another dealer selling an original badge.

Do you know about any reference material, books, websites or anything, with more info on Leistungsabzeichen? I have searched for it but couldn’t really find anything.

Hi again,

As Stig says, join the hj - research.com, i am also a member of it, the forum is a fountain of knowledge about all things to do with HJ DJ BDM JM, the forum also shows and talks about the many fakes on the market. Good books on HJ etc are The Hitler Youth by David Littlejohn and the 2 x books by JR Angola called The HJ, the books can be hard to fine and can also be very expensive but good reference books, hope this helps.
