HJ Winter Ski Cap? Bergland Maker

From what I have seen the majority of caps in this style have a sewn on diamond. Would this make sense this was a commercial cap that an HJ added the pin to for use? thanks for any help.

No way to be 100% sure but it's possible. I own an HJ leaders cap with a pin instead of the sewn on diamond. Mine however has an rzm tag. Most of the buckles face to the left when looking at it like mine. Some like yours face to the right, not sure if that's indicative of anything.

Thats a great cap Aldo, the lack of an rzm tag is what leads me to thinking this cap was civilian and just used by adding the pin but the fact yours also has the pin is interesting.
