Default Hitler Youth Knife M7/51 1936

Hello. I want to show here in the forum the last dagger I acquired to get other opinions. I have searched many sites on the internet for this exact dagger and have only found one exact match, but if it is a fake there may have been more than one made. All the other daggers had some differences with mine. I also read various articles on how to distinguish fakes, but seeing photos on the forum to what perfection the counterfeiters have reached, I can't be sure of my own opinion. All the details look correct, but the dagger looks very well preserved, which is doubtful. There is also a slight offset to the top rivet, there is also slight wear under the hanger strap, there is also a cotton pad on the scabbard slide.Hitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth KnifeHitler Youth Knife

    Great Find Georgi

1936 Production period Version 2 not having the punctuation mark " period " after the "M" on the RZM .
Anodized scabbard is correct and including the single cloth runner in the scabbard

Hello. Thanks for the opinions. They are useful for me and now I can rest easy. Without your opinions, there is always some doubt.

    Thanks Georgi.

All as it should be on the mid period Wingen, i had a couple myself and this is textbook.

BTW a lot of Wingen knives do not have any movement on the diamond, all depends on the way the attacted the sprongs of the diamond to the plate.

    Cheers
    Ger
