Guys,
I have had a look at the fake example from Nick VR, I have checked Ades maker marks. I was thinking this is ok if a little used.
What do you think?

Hi Jock, I like it A good original used example. The sharpened blade is typical as these lads used the knifes on camp etc.
This one is nice as it has full maker marks, plus the RZM marking too. The motto too is a real plus as by 1938 they did away with this on the knives.
Cheers, Ade.
Cheers Ade,
You know that the stickies are very useful in weeding the obvious fakes, I never had much time for study but I found and cross referenced this one in 5mins.
I have today off so I will post a bit more later as I've found some more bits in a box.
Got to do my house work now though!!!

Jock nice HJ knife. Gary
Hi Jock , as the other boy`s have said , a nice used transitional HJ that`s got everything ! , motto , a sought after makers mark , and RZM mark . I think these are becoming more and more popular , and as such are rising in value , it also has a nice scabbard on which the leather looks real nice , i really like it
cheers Al
