I think that Logo belongs to Max Weyersberg Solingen.
The Blade is missing it's Leather Buffer Pad.
So do you think it's correct?' i saw the max Weyersberg early logo and looks different. Do you think it's even earlier? Many thanks

Hello!
It is a good early period made HJ knife. I think rare logo variant from M.W.
The motto was gone. (visible a bit)
Here is the maker's logo variant on dress bayonet:
HELP/THOUGHTS NEEDED. Real or Fake Weyersberg Firemand dress Bayonet?
Theres no doubt the knife & scabbard are original.
But the "M.WEYERSBERG" etching I don't know, I guess it should be "MAX WEYERSBERG" but it's not the same one 》 heres the most known one =
Yours could be a rare *variant worth more or someone just etched that after WW2, more research has to be done on this knife.
An authentic early Max Weyersberg HJ knife, the maker mark an early variant.
Agree with other members here that this is an early stamp for Max Weyersberg & interesting to see, thanks for posting it luca.
Regards Mac 66
