Re: HJ knive's collection
nice set you`ve got there Ronnie , i really like HJ`s , i think they represent a special part of WW11 ! Are the HJ bayonets a rarity as you don`t see many knocking around ?
cheers Al

Re: HJ knive's collection
Hi Ronnie, thanks for showing them.
I am always very wary of HJ bayonets. Does the HJ insignia in the grip "wiggle"? So many of these are conversions from regular Heer dress bayonets.
Cheers, Ade.

These HJ daggers are my favorite TR edged weapons! Thank you for showing!
Do you intend to stop at four?

Re: HJ knive's collection
Thank's guy's, i keep on buying them when they some time's come up at a what i think is a decent price i have a thing for them since my dad brought me one back from Germany in 1972 i think that's what got me onto collecting dagger's (i was 9 can you imagine that now) Ade the diamond does have a very slight wobble as all except 1 of the others do Al, yes they are hard to come by as Ade say's lot's of them are converted from dress bayo's and i have seen them going for a pretty penny so i think i will hang onto this one for a while thank's for looking guy's

Re: HJ knive's collection
Greetings Ronnie, I have a question. I noticed my HJ knife has an oakleaf and an S stamped into the leather on the scabbard. Any idea what this means? Just curious if you've seen this before. I can send a scan later. rick

Re: HJ knive's collection
Hi Rick, I have seen/read about this before. I cannot recall now if there was a conclusion though? Are you sure it does not read "LFS" with the "F" superimposed onto the oakleaf?
Cheers, Ade.
