Maker info request

Does anyone know who this maker is or if it stands for something.
It's L S stamped in the leather.

If you look closely one can see a oak leaf imbossed in the center,I looked in what few books I have and did not find anything.I guess we will have to leave it up to Ade to tell us who the maker is Regards .Mike

Thanks Mike. I did think that the leather right between the letters looked 'fooled' with but could not make out what I was seeing.
Poor Ade, dumping this on him when we was the first in the other thread that said he couldn't remember what the L S was.

Can't do it all by yourself Ade .
