    Hello all,
Here is the HJ Knife I just picked up. open to comments. I Have always wanted a HJ Knife. I really wanted one with the inscription, but they got harder to find. So picked this one up about 2 weeks ago in Bunker Militia. It is a trusted site. Some of the prices are high, but hey as the days and years go buy, this stuff get harder and harder to acquire, in good shape. So I can scratch this off my list of to acquire..

    Hello.
Upload good photos of the markings if available so colleagues can comment.
You can write what made you buy this knife, and if you have any doubts about its authenticity. A buffer pad is also missing.
At first glance from these pictures it looks like an early HJ knife with a sharpened blade and I'm not sure if the emblem is correct without the maker's logo.
    Regards Georgi.

Here's my problem with it; it has the larger 2nd type diamond badge which would date from 1938, but the blade appears to be an early type without the ricasso. So have the grips been swapped or the blade? Be interesting to see the back side of the grips, the lack of a scabbard may suggest it had a post war scabbard, originally.

Well i like to see the measures, to me it looks like a 23x13mm
The dagger itself is original, let us see the backside please?
Which Logo is on the backside?

Does the diamond wiggle a bit?

    Gerrit,
Thanks. No it doesn't wiggle, but I have never really tried to do it. I will post more backside pictures and the grips.

    Good evening, Guys,
Here you go. Like I said it was a Vet Bring back. You can see where he inscribed his name above the makers mark. He made this leather sheath too.. Hello again.
What has been said is confirmed. There is grip interference. Repaired grip crack visible. The knife was de-Nazified and then restored with a late period diamond.
    Regards Georgi.
