Imperial standard M-95 brass buckle belt is strange with padded device sewn on it and a leather protector for buckle. Belt I believe is WW1 as it has brass catch. Any suggestions welcome. timothy

Interesting piece, the home made clothes protector is quite neat, I have no idea what the pad is? Did he carry a machine gun I wonder and the pad was a buffer between the body and the metal?

Very interesting, I love puzzles like this.... It makes it unique, and much more interesting than an unissued standard belt. Haven't a clue why this would have been done.

Very intresting piece , indeed!
The buckle protector could very well be a camo pad.
I like it a lot.
