Is this unusual for an Imperial buckle??

Hello
What are your thoughts on this imperial buckle with what I thought was a ww2 style box design.
Would like to know if anyone has come across it before.
Is it an inter war variation?

Sorry to say, although in my opinion of course, that the Imperial Prussian buckle shown here, is a fantasy item from the 1970's.

I am not aware of a period Imperial Prussian buckle with this type of exact construction and in particular, the type of brazed on catch is the "signature" of this fantasy buckle. Again, first seen in the 1970's and belongs to a dubious family of fake/fantasy buckle, all in steel and all with the same style of brazed on catch, ears to the box, et al.

These buckles by the way, are well documented within the Forum.
