Please help with feldmutze
This cap is available on a dealer site, and it is said to be one of many stored hats which were recently discovered. It appears to be in mint condition and it is extremely clean, everywhere.
Does anyone know how this discovery came about, and where these caps were located? They are regarded as legitimate items so there must be some information about this discovery.
I'm usually sceptical on cloth items that are truly in a mint condition, particularly when they are as old as this but I am very interested in this cap.
Any thoughts on this cap and the discovery in general would be appreciated.
