Hello EK1 collection, who can explain or tell me whether the EK2 offered in 1870 was also awarded in the period or was the EK2 made in the period 1900-1930. What are the differences? many thanks for your help.......

This looks to be an original 1870 with very nice detail.
These crosses were made up into the very early 1900s but I believe that the one
posted is from before 1895. The early crosses are very nicely detailed and as
time went on, the quality started to fail. Crosses produced after the great Jubilee of
1895 are IMO pretty sad when compared to those made in the 1870s.

Good morning, thank you for your detailed answer, thank you very much
Where exactly can you see the details on it? On the crown / year?
I would like to buy the cross. Can you give me your assessment of what would be the maximum bid for you? Many thanks for your effort.......
two crosses from the late 1890s and early 1900s.
Both are from different makers than the typeA crosses posted above but they
are good examples of how the quality of the crosses really slipped between the wars.
One is a post- Jubilee era piece from an unknown maker and the other is made by S-L
in the early 1900s. It is seen pictured in their 1906 catalog.
