This is an Imperial EKII that although not in the greatest of condition spoke to me when I saw it. There is also something about KO crosses as well that I just like, I seem to be drawn to them sometimes.

So here it is, a little salty and suffering from a hard life. I like to imagine that it sustained some of this damage in the field at the time however we will never really know.

    Very nice Ken!
It certainly has received a few dings over the years. Enough to shift the core to one side.

I like it and I completely understand why you bought it.

Some KOs had a problem with paint loss. I have the 1st class version of yours.
Lots of missing paint and I reached over a couple of perfectly fine crosses so I
could pick mine. The dealer even lowered the price for me after I complained
that I could not afford one of his pretty crosses.

    Ken,

I too, love the, "been there" looking crosses. It brings more realism as to having them being potentially field worn. They all have a place within my collection.
    Congratulations on another addition.

    Greg,

    Greg,

One could say, "the places that one has been!" It certainly has character and an almost a whimsical look all unto its own with the paint loss.

    Regards,

    Joel

I can see this cross has a story to tell Greg just as mine has. I would have purchased it myself over a mint one any day.
