Really lovely tailoring. I have quite a romantisized appreciation for the Hungarian uniforms, especially monarchist period tunics. I own a few ww2 tunics but nothing pre ww2 . I do have a question to pose for someone that might be more versed in Hungarian uniforms. I am looking for a ww2 period csizma nadrag or the tuzer nadrag to go with my csendor tunic and artillery tunic . I had someone offer me csizma nadrag but the lining was not striped which I am told should be present on all ww2 nadrag and the lack of it implies rakosi period. Would anyone know more information on correctly identifying proper era pieces .
Also there is a blend type fabric on a couple of my tunics that is different then the plain wool and I am trying to determine the words for what this blend fabric specifically for military tunics was called in Hungarian. Wools I can sort of come close to matching but that blend is quite unavailable in the USA and may also be something no longer available in the European market other then vintage old stock . Searching for it is rather complex when I donlt know the correct terminology for it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice tunics, thanks for sharing them.

I have just acquired the verlag book, the Emporers coat, so it is nice to see pictures to support my study of these uniforms. Being a hat man I am on the look out for the Infantry field cap but they are hard to find.

    Fabulous.

    cheers
