Welcome your thoughts on this, I have it as Bavarian (buttons and epaulettes) the black collar with red I am not sure about, any help appreciated, thanks, Paul

Checked my references last night for you as the collar patches were bugging me and I had read something some where about them.

Any way found what I was looking for and...........They are 100% correct for Bavarian engineer officers !

I even found an original photo of them in wear ......I can scan and send it for you later in the week if you need proof of life.

How about that !
