    Default Braunschweig skull.

    Hello.
Your help and opinion is needed about this skull.
The general appearance, the aging, looks like it should be.
IMO, is good one, but bother me, the three round prongs.
I saw three flat prongs only on fakes.
Round there was also in the 20-30ties.
I have a similar one in my collection, but with two flat prongs.
    Thanks all, regards, Jannis.

In my opinion not original. The backside tells it all..

Where did you get this info from? Only a few used round metal prongs as far as I know...

The larger round pins are a sign of a fake, IMO.

IMO, is good one, different as the original standard two prongs skulls and the know three prongs fake.
The head is wider, I have only seen such a skull on a wehrmacht visor cap in a stonemint theard.

I still believe these large, round, flat ended pins are a sign of a fake.
Did you see the type of pins on the skull in stonemint's thread?

No, what's on visor cap, but I haven't seen yet one
similar, apart from those seen in stonemint thread.
That's why I made this thread.
I am grateful for any information.

This model of Brunswick skull was always die struck to my knowledge. The back shows cast signs and the dimensions don’t look right. The larger chunky pins have always been a sign of a fake.

The top TK is a copy IMHO. The missing nasal septum is common to many repros.
