Possibly a S-L made piece. However I'm not well acquainted with this style cross.
I'm not even sure if it's an original or not.

The original cross should consist of three parts, if it is not, it is a fake.
I can see paint on the frame, I don't like it.
    I hope I helped!

Wouldn't they polish out the machine marks in the nut?

Original one piece crosses do exist. They can be found in both 1914
and 1939 styles. Most were made by the firms of "Otto Schickle" and
"Petz & Lorenz". The cross pictured above is not a style made by either company.

I believe that the cross posted is made by or copied from a "Friedrich Linder" cross. Is it a
one piece cross or is it a very sloppy repaint? Linder crosses use the same thin, coarse beading
and bulbus crown. They also use the same style back plate, nut and chrome plating.
I just am not sure if this one is an original or a copy. I am leaning towards it being a original
but having it in hand would determine if it is actually a three piece cross. I am not aware of any
    original one piece Linders.

Here are a couple images that I found in my search.

Paint on the frame does not automatically make it a fake.

    sorry for misrepresentation
until now I was thinking all the time that if the cross is one piece it is false

Four people trying to help you identify this cross.
Several hours of digging through old threads and files.

    You're welcome.
