I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I'm not entirely sure what these are.
Presumably they are German WW1 or earlier fire helmets, hopefully someone can tell me.
If not please direct me to a more appropriate forum.
Many Thanks,
HG

Hammergun, yes they are fire helmets. The first one is genuine, I'm not so sure of the second that is largely pristine and lacks a shield. If you can send me the Latin or German that is on the fist helmet's shield, I might be able to tell more about it. Dwight

Thanks Dwight,
Einer fur Alle, alle fur einer.
one for all all for one?
It has also had the large letters "OK" added.
Yes the other one is very tidy, perhaps it was spare never issued hence the lack of a shield?
I dont think its a copy, It does show some age in hand, and the chinstrap is very perished.
Cheers,
HG.
