If a rusty helmet has value, this certainly would.
I believe it's missing some parts, but would still have value.

Missing quite a lot, but easily worth more than a rusty helmet.
Just a metaphor.
If anyone has made any reproduction manufacturers plates I would be interested in one.
Are buy or selling? Condition isn't the best but it has my interest peeked.
What did you end up doing with this?
The bottom picture - the one with the Gr.W.16 on a crate - is the one I own.
Do you know if the OP still has it?
The lever on the right is the cocking lever to fire it. There is supposed to be a large, "T" shaped handle on the left that locks in the elevation. The trigger is also missing. I've attached a few diagram pages from the manual - they show all of the parts needed to complete it.
The last three pics are of mine - named "Belching Bertha". The last two shows my small Gr.W.16 and Wr.G. display. I placed it front and center within my mobile WWI display. Last April was the first time it was publicly displayed. Before that I had taken it to a few WWI reenactments and fired it using dummy rounds.
Are you meaning the big Grundplatte; or the Schußtafeln or the smaller, über rare Kampfplatte?
I know a guy who has had some repro Schußtafeln for the Grundplatte made. If he still has any he was selling them for about $150 a set IIRC.
If you are talking about the Grundplatte - nope - not aware of any repros being made currently. There was a guy who made perfect repros of them in the '70s, or maybe '80s, but if you find one you'll pay about what you would for an original. Sometimes his repros get passed off as originals. Last I knew he made them for some museums and a handful of private collectors.
If you are meaning the Kampfplatte - last I knew it was in the development stages. I help with getting the schematics for this so repros could be made. To my knowledge there are only three complete Kampfplatten known to exist. IIRC a repro, if made, was going to cost somewhere between $1.5K and $2K.
