    yes, that's my very favorite one, "5 Jolly Comrades, War-Year 1914-1915. We're still single." I love the humor in that one!

    Yes, exactly, just a few that I found interesting on Ebay. The second photo belongs to the back of the 3rd photo, do you know where "Djubrik" is? I like wondering who the "Erich" who wrote the postcard was, maybe the Hussar in the middle?

    doomtown, the "Erich" in the middle, wearing the field grey "Attilla" jacket is indeed a "Hussar"...he dates the photograph, as he is wearing a black wound badge (lower left chest), so it was sometime between 3rd March (when the badge was instigated) 1918 to 11th November 1918. Djubrik is I think, some where in Western Russia.
