No, the sword pictured is a Naval officer's sword.by Maarten
Their only connection is that they both appear to be from the Third Reich era.
It may have a connection to the sword scabbard that is barely in the photo.

Its Imperial if it is original I don’t know.

It has been kept in the scabbard for over 90 years, it was owned by my grandfathers father.
Ha ok. I am not in sabers that’s why I don’t know if this is original or not.
