Your iron cross is a piece of patriotic jewellery.
There were many, many different sizes and styles available.

Yes, very much like a sweetheart jewel.--Good comparison.
Sorry but I have no clue about the detonator.

You have quite a interesting fuze there.

It’s a Brennzünder 40 (BZ40) however your variation IT IS NOT for egg grenades. The egg grenade variation (BZE) has a longer “body”. This fuze has a 1 second delay whereas the egg grenade version has a 4-5 second delay

But reading the lexpev website reveals your variations purpose.

    Brennzünder 40

    Your variant is for the
    MELDEBÜCHSE Land

    MELDEBÜCHSE See

A type of message delivery device (flare?) used by the Luftwaffe

    Or the “shaving stick grenade”
    "shaving-stick"grenade

L.Dv. 4200; Die deutsche Abwurfmunition, Serie L, Blatt 15: Landungsrauchzeichen (Stand: März 1943)

    Iron Cross

Overall your fuze was used for smoke/pyrotechnics rather than actual Grenades

Thank you, mystery solved! It isn't really my type of things to collect but it came in a lot with other stuff. That's a very good site, didn't know that one.. I think the Fuze is still intact.
