Looking for info on my colonial Schutztruppe armband

I got this imperial German Schutztruppe armband a while back and I can't really find anything about it online. This one is from the Togoland colony and is dated 1908. Everything on it is printed; only the armband itself is sewn. I would guess the text was done with some kind of movable-type press, since the letters aren't perfectly aligned.

I'm looking for any information you have on these (pictures if I'm lucky), and your opinions on authenticity. It looked similar in construction to a 1943 Werkluftschutz armband the seller had, so I was just curious. I know the pictures aren't the best quality but it's all I can do right now.
