M16 German/finnish?

I bought this M16 recently for quite cheap, the seller clamied it was finnish what do you think? Also is it Real?

Yes Finnish army used with Post war liner added and Post war Finnish repaint and also they have removed the chin strap mounts

Okay thank you for the information, does this mean that the helmet was produced in Finland?

No German made used by the Finnish army

Original WW1 german helmet used by the Finnish Army. They bought a big surplus at the beginning of the 'Winterwar' (1939-1940) against the Sovjet invasion. They kept them in service.

I have something similar purchased from IMA. It's Austrian (AW/W64) with rolling marks on top of the dome.

Any scholar of helmets know if the Finns used a 3-pad liner similar to the M16 liner? Mine has looks of the 3-pad chromed liner configuration - different from the op's.

Yes the Fins used a 3 pad liner in these helmets

Thanks for the reply. I've been seeing that Swedish liners are very similar, too. Here I thought the Germans had a corner market on the 3-pad system.
