Hello, since I have a small collection of German awards and photos from world war 2 , I decided to start from the First World War, these are my first item.
Do the photos refer to the period of the First World War? I am interested in whether the soldier with the buttons is an officer?
Sorry for the awful English please excuse me I use google translator

    Hi emo155.

You have there a nice Cross of Honor for non-combatants.

In relation to the "buttons soldier", could you upload another photo just of that photograph in which we can see better the shoulder pads of the uniform?

I would say the images are from the WWI period and, there is no problem about your English.

    Regards

    Hi emo.
It is not my specialty, but for me it is not an officer, but an enlisted man. You better wait for the opinion of a member specialized in WWI uniforms

This is a good start to an Imperial collection, those cabinet photos are particularly nice. But I must warn you that collecting this material is quite addictive.
