My new damascus sabre M1861

Hi friends i would like to show you my new saber M 1861. A saber was found by a member of my family during construction work in austria. The owner of the house was not interested in the saber, so He sold it to my uncle for a fraction of the actual price. It was not yet clear from the photo my had uncle sent me that the saber was made of damask steel. Therefore i am very happy!!! The text on the saber is : Das officiers = corps des infanterie regiment, Seinem besten schutzen 1908, manufacturers : weyersberg & stamm solingen eisenhauer, Carl Grasser Hof Waffenfabrik Wien 13.
