While I don't usually support the idea of fake ribbons, this cross has had
a fake ribbon on it the entire time that I have owned it. Which has bothered me
for years. Not only was it not folded as a traditional woman's bow, it was also the
wrong size. So I went about searching for some correct ribbon without a lot of luck.
I contacted several dealers in Germany and settled on a piece of the correct width
replacement ribbon from the 1960s.
I figure that this is for my own display case and I would never dream of selling it as "original"
so what's the harm in trading one fake ribbon for a better fake ribbon. At least it looks correct.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
Very nice Greg!
I would say it's no problem until an original comes along.
Love these crosses and would like to add one to my collection as well.
