As Horst says its original but YOU have to decide if the apparent damage ( possibly separating visor, damaged tongues in liner, brittle leather and missing Cockades & chinstrap etc... ) balance out against the asking price.

Thank you two for your responses! The seller is asking a 150 Euros for it which to me seems like it would balance out the damage.
What would you two think?
I think the price is good but is only my opinion so you have to decide finally... If the piece 'is calling' you is a great thing. Instead if you are not 'totally' convinced, pass away and wait for a better piece
I bought the Pickelhaube and I am more than happy with it! It was definitely calling me.
In the seller's pictures it looked like it was in a rougher shape than it actually is. The liner isn't all that dry and neither is Haube's leather. Nothing is falling apart or separating.
But thanks all of you again for your help making sure that it was an original!
Best regards,
Lucas
That doesn't look too bad at all!
I like it a lot Lucas! Always listen "the calling" of a piece! If you make so, you will be always happy with your deals....
Nice little Pickelhaube Lucas!
Any names or stamps on or under the liner?
Andy
