WW1 Baden Jacket?

Article about: Hi, what do you think of this Baden jacket? Could it be original from ww1? Why doesn't it have a green lined collar? Is it perhaps a late war production or a good repro? Thank you in advance

If it is a repro then it is quite an accurate rendition. Others will opine. It looks in good condition if its original.

Sorry I can't help with the authentication, Looks like you got your answer.
That's a cool item. My first time seeing a Baden one.
I have a Baden pickelhaube and didn't know that their tunic buttons also have the Griffin.

Hi Phil, the Baden Buttons are added and belong not
the tunic. Troups from Baden had the same tunic as
    prussian units.

Are the Baden buttons, buttons? Or are they belt hooks? What is on the should straps and their buttons? It looks good to me, but why no piping? What do the stamps on the inside say? As the Baden buttons, I have in my collection War Time Baden collar rank buttons, which supposedly they didn't use. When it comes WWI German uniforms, I've seen too many that don't fit regulations. As a result I don't rule any thing out right away.

We have here a Vereinfachte Feldrock without piping and Griffin belt hook buttons. Is it possible it is a uniformed civilian piece? Police, Fire, or such?

I think buttons an no belt hooks. Belt hooks with the "Badischen Greif" didn´t exist.
Perhaps someone removed the piping after the war.

This one of those pieces you have to see in person, just can't tell from photos.
