Translated as best as I could. It reads:

    “Świdnica, June 8th, 1914

Dear sister, dear brother-in-law! I'm writing to tell you that I'm alive and well, thank God. I hope the same of you. Dear sister, I wonder why you never write me. Perhaps you forgot the address? My address is: Infantryman Malecha [?], 5/10 Świdnica Soldier's letter, personal business of the recipient I also want you to know that I'm going to be discharged in autumn. I'm also on the ????? here. Kind regards from your brother Franz

    Bettingerode/Harzburg”

I don’t have much info regarding Malecha. 20 days after this postcard was written Archduke Franz Ferdinand would be assassinated. I’m unsure if Malecha ever actually received his discharge but I would assume not.

Great postcard. I would agree and unfortunate for him, but I'm sure he wasn't discharged
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Purely based upon the postal address I searched for the name Franz Malecha. I found several persons with the name but only one who lived close to the address on the letter. This was at Wesendorf, Kreuzburg.

His name appears on the February 1915 casualty list:

Grenadier Franz Malecha from Wesendorf, Kreuzburg
    Liste Preußen 138
    Regiment : 5th Kompanie, Grenadier-Regiment 10

Died in Feldlazarett Stenau on 5th January 1915.
