    Default WW1 Imperial Steins

Purchased these two Steins a few days ago. First time owning any.

    They have always intrigued me.

Workmanship is great and they are in near mint condition with no chips. Highly detailed with nice hand painted finishing touches

Lots of information on these which one day, I plan to decipher.

The larger Stein is for the 18th Inf Regiment (Prinz Ludwig Ferdinand) 5th Company Landau for service from 1909 to 1911. It is named to Reservist August Krebs

The small Stein is for the 22nd Infantry Regiment Zweibrucken, 7th Company Kgl Bayren for service from 1908 to 1910. Named tin Infantryman Muller (maybe a distant relative on my mothers side LoL)

Sorry for the photos. Difficult to present will all the background noise. My light box is packed away

Here are photos of the 22nd.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Thanks guys. As noted, always wanted one (or two). Once my house renovation is done, and I have my new "war room", I do plan on celebrating by using them (once )

    Thanks!

I don't know much about these so did a crash course to get up to speed as these are highly faked. From what I was told to look for, these appear to be legit.

    Excellent Steins Michael.
Are there any markings on the bottom of them?

    Thanks Phil.

No markers or impressions at all. Looked for hidden maker information embedded in the graphics but haven't come across anything.

I was wondering if these were made by the same company since the Lithophane is the same image.
    Awesome colors on those

They look good to my eyes Michael, congrats. The photos in the bottom help a lot. Not many fakes have them that I have seen or they will have some type of nude photo. Originals did not have any nudes.
