    Default WWI German Ring Identification

I have recently rediscovered 2 rings that belonged to a great uncle who fought in the trenches in France and decided to take a couple souvenirs. I am unable to identify one ring and was wondering if someone might give me a little history on this one. Many thanks. It is the 'Welt-Krieg' ring. I would like to know what its significance is other than 'World-War'.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I cannot give you any details about the ring, other than to say it is a patriotic ring of the type worn by a serviceman. These type of rings come in many different styles and designs. Both the ones you show are nice examples.

    Cheers, Ade.
