I've seen this type of WW1 bracelet many times. This is typical German trench art. They were made from grenade driving bands.
This is a really nice example. Very detailed, especially the Eiserne Kreuz/iron cross. I also like that the front is split for an open design. With the safety chain, I am not sure from the photos whether it was replaced (it is often missing).
