Assistance identifying uniforms....

Anyone able to help with these pictures?

scrap1_crop: not clear to me on the right, is it even a military uniform?

scrap 3_crop: this sure looks early Soviet (civil war era?) to me, but as these are relatives, that would make less sense to me

scrap2_crop: anywhere between 1900 and 1910 or so (most likely, on the left, my grandfather).

But any and all information about any of these pictures would be much appreciated!

The second photo was taken during Sovet period (20th). The third one - befor 1907.

Interesting for different reasons - I also thought the second was Soviet, but coming from a grandmother who emigrated to the US in 1911, I do not have an easy answer as to who this is, why she had the picture, and/or how she would have gotten it.

If you have time, I'd like to know what identifies the uniforms in the third as "pre" 1907. That time frame is correct - my grandfather.... But I'd be curious to know what markes the uniforms as pre 1907.
