Is this Sain George fake?
It should be issued in 1917. Because it looks like white metal, though I could be wrong. Any suggestions?

For sure fake, the cross without markings on it must be a very rare one from the time of Kerenskiy IMO

In other forums found out that the cross withuot much markings is common in late WW1 production. Especialy in 1917 how I said. I am asking in multiple forums to see if the opinion match.
And can you confirm you are expert in these type of awards?
I'am not an expert in that kind of awards, but I have seen them a lot, for sure the ribbon is the soviet navy guards ribbon used in the cap tallys. The cross itself looks to me also not good due of a strange defects on it. Probably I'am wrong, but the ribbon is for sure not a Czarist period made
Try to ask in the Russian forum Ìàãàçèí Ëåéáøòàíäàðò - ïîäàðêè è âîåííûé àíòèêâàðèàò.

I don't know other forums specializing in the Imperial Russian awards, but try here The Soviet Military Awards Page Forum

I would highly suggest the Russian forums also, even though the Soviet Awards Page Forum and The Gentlemen's Military Interest Club Forum have some knowledgeable members.

It takes a bit of effort, but will pay off IMO...

I don't know about the medal itself Leo, but it seems to me that the suspension is not from Tsarist times, but is Soviet era - made from aluminum - 1960X >
The ribbon seems to be "modern" also...
