    Hi Raymond,

Pic's aren't the best, but it looks to me like an unmarked Weidmann IAB that's got a possible repaired wrap around hinge. Best wait for other opinions though.

    Regards, Ned.

As I stated on WAF and Mr. Durante has agreed, it is an unmarked E. Ferdinand Weidmann.
Here is my example to compare.

I am delighted my guess has been validated by both you and Tom on WAF Ralph, it is humbling to be able to be standing on the shoulders of giants.

    Ralph.
Hardly these days. My height was measured at the doctors the week before Christmas and I was down to 5'11" from 6'2" within 3 years and after 3 more ops on my spine. What a b*******!! I'll be changing my nom de guerre to illustrate this dilemma.

    Hi Raymond

As stated...this one is an original E. Ferd Wiedmann Design ISA.

The hardware set up is all correct and has not been repaired/re-attached.
The excessive solder around the hinge that Ned mentions is a common attribute for this variant.

In my studies, I have found four different vein patterns using the Wiedmann Design and yours is what I refer to as the Die 3.

Here is my example with matching obverse to compare.

    Best Regards, fischer
