I have looked at a number of photos but still can not seem to nail it down.

Hi Raymond,
Pic's aren't the best, but it looks to me like an unmarked Weidmann IAB that's got a possible repaired wrap around hinge. Best wait for other opinions though.

Hardly these days. My height was measured at the doctors the week before Christmas and I was down to 5'11" from 6'2" within 3 years and after 3 more ops on my spine. What a b*******!!None so large as your own Ned!

know how you feel Ned,I gone from 5.9 1/2 to 5.8. not much fun getting old.

As stated...this one is an original E. Ferd Wiedmann Design ISA.
The hardware set up is all correct and has not been repaired/re-attached.
The excessive solder around the hinge that Ned mentions is a common attribute for this variant.
In my studies, I have found four different vein patterns using the Wiedmann Design and yours is what I refer to as the Die 3.
Here is my example with matching obverse to compare.
