Hollow backed Infanterie Sturmabzeichen ?

Article about: I was looking through my badges , and found this hollow backed IAB. I noticed the eagle was more pronounced, and the bottom portion of the sling connecting to the rifle stock is different. I

    I was looking through my badges , and found this hollow backed IAB. I noticed the eagle was more pronounced, and the bottom portion of the sling connecting to the rifle stock is different. I find it a rather tough badge extremely hard to bend for such a light piece. Any information would be appreciated

    Sorry Humbers, it's a fake based on the Hymmen design badge. The weird head is a massive red flag and I don't think they had cut out swastika's either.

    Thanks guys. Something about it troubled me. The head, wingspan, material, etc.... I just didn't like it. I set it aside for a reason. A good one!

    Your concerns were justified, it's notable for being well undersized compared to genuine badges, another "tell" that gives it away.
