I recently located this Infanterie Sturmabzeichen and would appreciate thoughts and opinions as to whether or not it is genuine and authentic WW2? Do you see any issues or areas of concern on this Badge? The only thing I notice is that the Pin Anchor mount and the Receiver Pin Catch are a little "crooked mounted".....Also, I think the side of the receiver for the pin is possibly?? "backwards?" (maybe this is normal?) for this type of Badge??.....Also, Can someone tell me the Maker of this Badge?
The Badge also has a "dished" (concave" shape) on the back side.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Harold

    Hello Harold,

I agree with Ralph's analysis and this one is a maker marked "5-vein" S.H.u.Co 41 marked ISA.

If you look closely under the hinge, you can see part of the maker mark.

Here is one I have to compare.

    Best Regards, fischer
