Guys i had been offered a nice looking s&l infanterie sturmabzeichen in bronze, everything looks ok for this variant other than a sloppy solder on the hinge. I think i may jump on this one

Hello Chuck,

This S&L crimped in ISA looks good to me and all known die flaws from original examples are present on this one.

That said, I have not seen a factory repair on this variant before but appears to be original.

Here is mine to compare.

Wow fischer yours looks great. Your crimp looks clean. Mine may have been crimped improperly i suppose but still not bad. Thanks for sharing. I would love to learn of the die flaws on these
