Default Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen by Funcke & Brüninghaus in zinc, silver grade

I've been a bit lazy about sharing items lately but managed to knock out some photos today. Not long ago I was able to acquire two IAB's by Funcke & Brüninghaus Lüdenscheid , one silver and one bronze, to fill those slots in my badge collection. According to Weber, this is the more common variant by F&B.

Congrats on adding this nice example to your collection Todd.
It is a match to my silver, unfortunately, I don't have a bronze grade.
Most of my IAB collection are silver grades.
Now you need to find the maker marked one to go with the other two.

Congrats Todd...a very nice unmarked Silver Grade.

The finish on yours is in very good condition.

There are eight different variations of the solid F&BL...double that if you are going to try and get both Bronze and Silver.

A really nice design feature on the F&BL examples is the angled cuts on the bayonet handle.
F&BL is the only ISA to feature this detail on the grip scales.

Here is my Silver grade with the same hardware set-up.

    Best Regards, fischer
