today I was happy to receive my second Infantry Assault Badge and by coincidence, I received my new reference book on the same day....in an attempt to further educate myself I've been picking up books when I can....

so...nothing minty here and only a little of the silver wash left on the front, I am certain it is genuine an according to the book it appears to be an unmarked "Julius Bauer & Co" badge in my opinion...for me the most distinct thing was the dotting inside of the leaves and the design of the bow at the bottom....it weighs in at 25.6 g on my scale....dims are correct......do you think I am correct in my judgement ?.....thanks in advance for any input and Merry Christmas to all !!!....

    I would agree.
Difficult to find these in much nicer condition.
Compare to the example in the data base.

    Hello,

Congrats on your second ISA...be careful these things are addictive.

As Ralph shows in his attachments, this one is attributed to the maker - Josef Bergs & Co., Gablonz.
Attribution in the Weber book to Julius Bauer is not correct.

Yours is one of three different unmarked JB&Co. design variants and it's the stippled wreath leaf, flat back example.

Here is one from my collection to compare.

I agree with fischer, these can become addictive.
I haven't been collecting these near as long as him but, here is my collection so far.
