Yes, it's an authentic Assmann . I can't comment on the specifics on what sets Assmann's apart except for the head. Assmann badges have a specific head compared to other badges. (As does almost every other makers). That's what i always check when i want to figure out what maker made my badge. But there are other smaller details that can set a badge apart from others aswell such as hardware setup. Especially this particular Assmann setup is really similar to other makers. It's IMO only the moulded Assmann badges that have their own special setups. So wait for other more experienced IAB collectors to comment.
