Infantrie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, FLL, Freidrich Linden, Ludenschied
Here is one that I was recently able to add to my collection. I did not know this variant existed until I saw it for sale. I have never seen another before, of course, now that you know about them, you can find a few examples posted somewhere.
This example still retains most of it's silver finish that has taken on a bit of a golden tone. The circular machining marks on the catch area are quite evident.
I am happy to have been able to acquire this one.

Nice catch Ralph...Congrats.
As you mentioned the circular machine marks as well as the abundant amount of solder used to attach the hardware are common traits of this example.
One of the many variations of the Friedrich Linden line of ISA's.
