1950s US Airborne Patches?
Article about: Hi there, Would these patches be correct for someone serving in the 101st in the mid-late 1950s? I believe the eagle patch is correct with the blue edging but I wasn't sure about the other t

The 101st is a Type 14 and would have been worn during the 50's. I would say later 50's though. These may have been worn up to the Vietnam era. The Paraglider insignia looks WW2 vintage but again would have carried over into the 50s and later.

I was told that the blue edging on the eagle patch was indicative of production in the 1950s. Do this hold true?
