Can you ID this Tank badge?

Article about: I would guess this is British, because it says "Fear Naught' on it, and it has a Crown. But what I do not understand, is the use for the rather large clip on the back. Any ideas? Thanks

It takes considerable force to snap the slider of a genuine cap badge. The badge will bend first imo.

Beg to differ on that point,
Yes the pre anodized older badges were stronger than the modern badges, but the anodized badges were very easy to snap. Switching badges between cap and beret {having lost a badge and having more imported items to replace than a cap badge, beer and tabs} often resulted in a snapped slide.
