    Hi Fabie

This is a difficult one in as much as there were many Felt/Wool variations of colour used for the Canadian Divisions during the war.

I received mine from noted Camadian Miitary Historian Bill Alexander as you see its not much to look at.

I like your one in as much as it is professionally done and has stitching around edges.

Sometimes you have to rely on who you brought it off.

The best ones to get are the printed variations however they are more expensive maybe.

This is melton wool has a smooth texture and thweave is tight.

    Hello Phil,
yes I suspect that it is quite difficult to comment on an article like this one, especially since I do not really know its origins.
It is already very nice to have helped me with your photos and your general analysis.
I think I'll let myself be tempted because I would like to associate it with a Canada title and a The Black wash isigna.
    What do you think?
Thank you Phil for your great knowledge.

    Hi Fabie

Personally I likw it ,I would get it if its not too much, maybe 10-15 euro. Again if you really want an authentic one then you need printed FS and they are expensive.

Again be careful with Canadian titles and Black watch , as they were manufactured post WWII c 1948-54/Korean era and later.

Sorry I cant be that more image s as I only have the melton wool/felt FS.
There is a book on Canadian cloth Formation signs and Titles by Bill Alexander , he is a noted Canadian Military Historian.

    Hi Fabie

The Parachute Regiment is a good Brit made WWII paste back cloth title.

Im not to sure on the Black Watch and I dont want to speculate, still fairly new to WWII Canadian Flashes and titles, hopefully some one ith more experiance can chime in.
