Help identifying RCAF button please.

I believe it to be WWII era , post war RCAF buttons have a ring around the outer edge .

Yup it's WW2, English made, I have seen a few variations of the RCAF Buttons

One other point worth mentioning on Post war constructed buttons some time not to long after 1953 buttons will start to be found with a QC instead of a KC on the top as well.

Mark...For the "QC & KC"...are you referring to Kings Crown and Queens Crown? Just want to make sure.

Yes that is correct sorry for the abbreviations.
You will find some post war uniforms with KC buttons as well in the early post war years.
