Default Help identifying RCAF button please.

I was wondering if anyone can help me identify and date this R.C.A.F. button I have received. I have been trying to pinpoint it online but every pic I come up with is different then what I have. Mine has 4 large feathers on the wings and the ones I find on line have 5 or more large feathers. I'm not exactly sure if I'm describing it correctly.

Mine is marked on the back: Gaunt London
    Shank is intact.

It was recovered metal detecting in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario Canada.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

One other point worth mentioning on Post war constructed buttons some time not to long after 1953 buttons will start to be found with a QC instead of a KC on the top as well.

THank you all for the info. It is very much appreciated.

Mark...For the "QC & KC"...are you referring to Kings Crown and Queens Crown? Just want to make sure.

Yes that is correct sorry for the abbreviations.
You will find some post war uniforms with KC buttons as well in the early post war years.
