Article about: Recently acquired this patch. It appears to be WWII era and what I'm assuming is a military patch. Any ideas?

    Hi , as i'm sure you have worked out for yourself , the symbol underneath the plume is for a nuclear reaction. So I guess it is an American unit involved in nuclear testing/ Leon.

    Just found it on "wiki" ARMED FORCES SPECIAL WEAPONS PROJECT. Leon.

    I found it online listed as "Older style Defense Nuclear Agency Insignia worn until 1970..."

    It is American , "Defense Atomic Support Agency" my book didn't have any other information about the unit .
