    Sorry for no photos(I'll learn how soon, I promise!) but I'll try to be specific.
    Guy said these were WWII Coast Guard but I searched and can't find it. Small black button, has the looped back, not holes, anchor is on side "pointing" left, post or rod going up the center with what looks like snakes winding around it, wings almost at the top, and a finial on top of the rod.
    These are still on a 24 count card wrapped in old paper. Any ideas? Again, sorry for lack of photo. Thanks. I took them in on a trade.

    Hi, Steve.

    Sounds like the 'USPHS" - United States Public Heath Service' - to me,
    with horizontal anchor, winged staff and twisting snakes
    ( known as a 'Caduseus' ).........
